What about Bute?  At Bute Produce we are putting in new processes and trialing old and new ways to increase yield.  We protect the environment by using natural fertilisers and soil improvers.  Moving away from pesticide driven industrial practices which are harmful to bees and wider ecology.  We are nurturing a range of organic and heritage plants this year, with the aim of setting up a seed library.  Moving away from manufactured one season only plants that are controlled by just a few global corporations.  Fresh fruit and vegetables are available at low cost whether you are looking for one special seasonal ingredient or a weeks supply for your family.  Providing an alternative to high food miles and expesnive supermarket fayre and supporting healthy eating choices.

And by buying your produce from Bute Produce, you are supporting skills development and horticultural training.
