If you haven’t yet visited Bute Produce, now is the time to do it! The season has been underway for some time with seed trays filling and ground preparation. Right now, the fruits of those labours are growing in abundance.
Salad days are here again – and what better way to celebrate with a fresh peppery salad. Salad leaves and radish, grown by our team from seed, using organic principles, are ready for harvest. Drop in and the team will be happy to pick you a fresh plateful.
For those lucky folk who have pre-ordered their green boxes, we have a special treat this week. We have teamed up with Just Seaweed. A free sample of Kelp Sea Sprigs (channeled wrack) is included with your land greens. The 30g packs a punch of healthy nutrients, especially iodine. 
Leave in cold water to rehydrate, then toss into your stir fry for 1 min or steam for a couple of minutes as a healthy side to your main. Just a couple of options, why not experiment as Sea greens work really well in soups, stews and curries too! Please come back to us and let us know how you get on.
