Fyne Futures will accept and collect items that are in reasonable condition and bring the sparkle back, making them available for resale at great prices!
Over 90 tonnes of household goods go to landfill from Isle of Bute each year – which is bad for the environment. Donating and buying reused goods is a great way to help our environment. Feeding the dump costs us all in landfill tax and waste management bills – whichis bad for our local economy. Donating and buying reused goods deliveries great benefits for our island’s economy. And reuse isn’t just good for the environment and our purse, it also support local skills development and employment.

Our opening hours are:
- Closed Monday
- Tuesday 10.30am – 2pm
- Wednesday 10.30am – 2pm
- Thursday 10.30am – 2.30pm
- Friday 10.30am – 2.30pm
- Saturday 10.30am – 2.30pm
Donations
All items that are collected for our Re-Style shop got through a thorough rigorous process before going on sale. We will arrange viewing of your proposed donation within 5 working days of you contacting us. Items are reviewed and assessed before collection from an individual, if they meet our standard of being fit for reuse, we agree a suitable time for collection within 3 working days of viewing – when possible we may collect at time of viewing. Our collection fee is just £8.
- All upholstered items must have certification mark , or have been tested for flammability at a furniture testing lab.
- Furniture containing glass must have a certification mark BS EN12521:2009 or BS: 7449).
- All white goods must work and be in good condition (we PAT test them prior to sale).
When we collect the items, they are transferred to a quarantine area. The items are then inspected and checked by trained staff . Work is carried out if required and noted on the record sheet, we then transfer the item to the shop for sale, at affordable prices.
What’s on offer
Affordable, quality reuse furniture and white goods, vintage furniture, and up-cycled furniture are available all year round. You can collect from the shop or have a delivery arranged within 5 days of purchase for just £8.

Get Involved
Fyne Futures supports volunteers looking to get back to work with training in retail and customer service knowledge and skills.
